Man charged with attempted murder

A Perry woman narrowly escaped death after being shot in her right eye during an altercation that occurred late Tuesday, June 30, near her home off Warner Avenue.

On Tuesday, July 14, investigators with the Perry Police Department (PPD) arrested 38-year-old Delrikos Brooks and charged him with attempted first degree murder in connection with the shooting.
