    FHSAA votes to allow practice to begin July 27

    While California and Georgia voted Monday to at least delay the start of high school sports amid the coronavirus pandemic, Florida is sticking to its original fall calendar, with a little bit of wiggle room for teams that can’t start their seasons on time.

    The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Board of Directors voted to allow fall practices to begin July 27 to stay on pace with the 2020 high school football season.
