Advisory posted at Hodges Park

The Florida Department of Health in Taylor County (DOH-Taylor) has issued an advisory recommending against swimming in the Hodges Park area due to recent high bacterial levels in the Keaton Beach area.

In a press release issued Monday, July 20 announcing the “high bacterial level advisory,” DOH-Taylor Environmental Health Director William Gibson said, “At this time, swimming is not recommended due to an increased risk of illness.”
