Glover fills four top school positions

The Taylor County School Board approved four key personnel appointments recommended by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Danny Glover Jr. during its regular meeting Tuesday, July 21, including a new principal and assistant principal for Taylor County Elementary School (TCES).

None of the positions were advertised, Glover said, explaining that “as superintendent, I can appoint those positions. With so many changes going on right now in the district, I did not want to bring in new people.”
