Tonya Ann Aman, 55, passed away on July 26, 2020, in Gainesville.
She was born Nov. 22, 1964, in Tallahassee to Tommy Aman and Audrey Ann Williams Aman.
Tonya was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She worked as a CNA for many years at Tallahassee Memorial in the emergency department. Her latter years were spent working in private home health care, including caring for her grandmother until her passing.
Tonya was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Ann Aman.
She is survived by: her father, Tommy Aman, and stepmother, Virginia; stepsister, Angel Ross; and stepbrother, Roy Sadler.
A special thanks to her cousins, Carol Jo Beaty, Karen Baker, Kristin Campbell and Lamar Aman, for caring for her for the last year of her life.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 30, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Norris and Lamar Aman officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterward in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m., at the church.
