Charles Richard Lewis, 63, passed away on July 27, 2020, in Tallahassee.
He was born Feb. 25, 1957, in Perry to James Henry Lewis and Beulah Joyce Nichols Lewis.
Charles was of the Christian faith. He worked as a master tradesman in the construction industry for more than 50 years.
He also loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Woodworking and traveling was some of his favorite hobbies. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by: his parents, James Henry Lewis and Beulah Joyce Nichols Lewis; two brothers, Selvin and Kenneth Lewis as; and his two sisters, Deborah Harrell and Marie Hutto.
He is survived by: his wife of 25 years, Marsha Lewis; one daughter, Amanda, and her husband, Antonio Hernandez; two sons, Richard and Adam Lewis; two stepsons, John and Albert Brooks; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday July 30, at 3 p.m. at Beth Page Cemetery with Pastor Eric English officiating.
The family will receive friends today (Wednesday) from 6-8 p.m. At Joe P. Burns Funeral Home.
