Updated projections for city utility and state revenue numbers helped reduce the City of Perry’s projected budget deficit by more than half heading into their Tuesday night meeting.
According to a new financial summary provided by City of Perry Finance Director Penny Staffney, the city’s projected shortfall had been reduced from $617,518 down to $249,326 prior to the council’s Tuesday, Aug. 11 meeting.
