Decision expected on H.S. football

High school coaches and players are eagerly anticipating a decision set for today (Friday, Aug. 14) that will determine if the 2020 football season moves ahead later this month.

Several area high school head football coaches offered their thoughts on whether the first day of fall practice will be held on Aug. 24 or delayed even onger, in advance of the Florida High School Activities Association (FHSAA) Board of Directors meeting set for today.
