Pipeline pressure testing continues until Aug. 19

Motorists on Hampton Springs Road will notice a fire hose stretched across the roadway near the entrance to the state prison for the next week, as contractors pressure test the new Fenholloway River pipeline.

According to a Georgia-Pacific (GP) news release, beginning on Aug. 12 a pipeline project contractor will have a fire hose fastened across Hampton Springs Road in front of Taylor Correctional Institution (TCI) during daylight hours through Wednesday, Aug. 19.
