St. James food pantry to open Aug. 20

St. James Episcopal Church’s food pantry will be open Thursday, Aug. 20, from 10- 11 a.m. to distribute non-perishable food to any persons or families who are in need (especially because of the effect of COVID-19).

“The bags of food which we supply are gifts from the parishioners alone, and we ask only for the recipient’s name and number of persons to be fed,” volunteers said.

Distribution will be made from the “dutch door” of the pantry.

Volunteers will be wearing masks and gloves in order to limit contact during the distribution.
