Sheriff promotes 3 within command

Three days after winning re-election to a second four-year term, Taylor County Sheriff Wayne Padgett announced several administrative changes to the command structure within the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO).

Former Chief Deputy Marty Tompkins’ rank has been reclassified as undersheriff, while former Capt. Buddy Lee has been promoted to the rank of chief deputy.
