Deputies offer faster response to coastal Taylor

Steinhatchee and Keaton Beach residents are likely to experience a faster response time to emergency calls now that eight Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) deputies reside in coastal Taylor County.

TCSO Sheriff Wayne Padgett recently announced that deputies Michael Vickers, Lucas Hamilton, Earl Padgett and Lee Harden moved to Keaton Beach, while deputies Amanda Schram (and canine partner Leia), Nick Sclavakis, Derrick Parker and Darren Whiddon (and canine partner Vader) moved to Steinhatchee.
