    Law will help dual enrolled students

    Approximately 30 local high school students enrolled at Big Bend Technical College (BBTC) will have an opportunity to earn high school credits while training for a high-paying career right after graduation under new legislation recently signed into law.

    Students who are dual enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses at BBTC will now earn both career certifications and high school credits after Gov. Ron DeSantis recently signed SB 434 “Designation of School Grades” into law.
