County seeks grant for drainage project

The Taylor County Commission is seeking a $400,000 grant to fund the development of a county-wide stormwater and drainage management plan.

With numerous flood-prone areas located throughout the county, the commission has been seeking a variety of state and federal funding avenues in order to secure the amount of money necessary to begin the planning phases.
