Florida Forest Festival (FFF) volunteers are committed to moving ahead with at least a shortened version of the annual King Tree Parade, despite the city council’s 3-2 vote against approving a portion of the parade route Tuesday night.
During a four-plus-hour meeting dominated by discussions on COVID-19, the city council voted 3-2 against a resolution assuming liability for closing a portion of Jefferson Street normally used for the annual King Tree Parade.
