After hearing extensive public comment during a marathon four-plus hour meeting Tuesday night, the city council has once again passed a mandatory face covering ordinance within the city limits by way of a split 3-2 vote.
Two weeks after an emergency mask ordinance expired when it failed to get the required supermajority (4-1) vote to be extended, the council adopted an almost identical ordinance in a non-emergency setting by the same 3-2 vote.
