Beach Road crashes prompt review

Due to the number of crashes occurring along the length of Beach Road, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has initiated a project to implement a variety of measures to improve the safety of the roadway.

The Taylor County Commission approved a Local Agency Program (LAP) agreement with FDOT at its Aug. 3 meeting, under which the state agency has agreed to fund $2,982 for the design phase of the project.
