Local rally draws community support

A locally-organized “Back-the-Blue” rally drew dozens of community members in a show of support for the Perry Police Department (PPD), Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO), Florida Highway Patrol, Taylor Correctional Institution and law enforcement support staff on Saturday, Sept. 5.

The event, which was sponsored by the Taylor County Republicans, offered Taylor Countians an opportunity to meet with and thank local law enforcement officers who protect and serve the community.
