Kayak tournament will cast off Oct. 17

The Gulf Coast Kayak Club’s CPR (Catch, Photo, Release) Fishing Tournament will be held off the Taylor County coast on Oct. 17, with kayak anglers fishing for over $2,000 in cash prizes for reeling in the top three largest trout and redfish.

First-place winners in the Trout and Redfish divisions will bring home $750, while second place for both categories will receive $250.
