Commission tentatively approves $52 million budget; will hold final public hearing Sept. 14

The Taylor County Commission tentatively approved a $52 million budget this week for the 2020-21 fiscal year, which begins Oct. 1.

The board held the first of two public hearings on the budget Tuesday, and will return Monday, Sept. 14, at 5:01 p.m. for a second hearing, during which the commission will vote on the final budget and property tax millage rates.
