County clears way for ‘drive-in’ fireworks

The Florida Forest Festival Board of Directors received the go-ahead from the Taylor County Commission this week to hold a drive-in fireworks display at Perry-Foley Airport.

The display, which is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m., will cap a trimmed-down 65th annual festival due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
