Courts closer to re-opening

While Taylor County has entered “Phase 2” of a four-phase pathway to returning to normal operations within the court system, jury proceedings (including grand juries) and trials remain suspended.

Under the order handed down by the Florida Supreme Court, “Phase 2” means that limited “in person” court appearances may now be held here, Third Judicial Circuit Administrator Charles “Chuck” Hydovitz said Thursday.
