Close call

A heavy-duty work truck pulling a trailer loaded with a Bobcat lost control and careened into a ditch overflowing with water during a heavy rain shower Sunday afternoon on Highway 19 South.

The truck also hit the back end of a camper trailer being pulled by a single-cab pick-up. The resulting impact caused the trailer to overturn, leaving the rear wheels of the pick-up hiked several feet in the air. No injuries were reported.
