Businesses eligible for $10,000 grants

Taylor County officials hope to provide financial relief to around 38 local businesses affected by the economic impact of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak using funds provided by the federal CARES Act.

To date, the county has received $904,906 in direct federal funding through the CARES Act, which is 25% of Taylor County’s total $3.7 million allocation. However, it remains unclear when and if the county will be able to access the remaining 75%.
