The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) has called off the search for the bodies of two missing pilots nine days after their single-engine Van’s Aircraft RV-9 plane crashed in the area of Dallus Creek of the Taylor County coast on Sept. 13.
TCSO and Perry Police Department (PPD) divers continued to search over the weekend, aided by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, who provided air support, and a nine-person dive team from the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO).
