King Tree Parade, festival fireworks show Oct. 24

In light of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Florida Forest Festival organizers are planning for a “socially-distanced” King Tree Parade Saturday morning (Oct 24), followed by a drive-in fireworks display that evening at Perry-Foley Airport.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at its usual starting point at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Veterans Drive and will end one block north of U.S. 27 at the intersection with Maurice Linton Road.
