While official nationwide results are not yet available, Taylor County boarded the “Trump train,” with nearly 77% of voters cast their ballots in favor of the current president to serve a second term.
According to the Supervisor of Elections official results, which were posted less than an hour after the polls closed, 76.48% Taylor County voters cast their ballots for Trump, while 22.65% were cast for democratic Joseph Biden.
Additionally, some 88 votes were dispersed between six other candidates, including a write-in option.
