Springer leads Chiles to state golf championship

Led by senior Jake Springer, the Chiles Timberwolves boys golf team defended their Class 3A state title and won their second straight golf championship last week.

Chiles posted a two-day score of 297-297-594 to win the title at the state tournament held on the El Campeon course at Mission Inn and Resort in Howey-In-The-Hills.
