War Eagles 10U, 12U teams advance to state championship game

The Boys & Girls Club-sponsored Taylor County War Eagles tackle football program continues to dominate area teams, as both the local 10-and-under (10U) and 12-and-under (12U) squads have advanced to the United Youth Football League (UYFL) state playoffs.

The 10U and 12U War Eagles already had #2 seeds locked up entering the playoffs, but strengthened their case with another win in their last regular season game, as the entire War Eagle program completed a clean sweep of the Grady County (Ga.) Dawgs in Dorsett Stadium two weeks ago.
