U.S. Marine Charles “Wes” Blue’s service to his country will be honored
with the raising of his memorial flag over Veterans Memorial Park during
Veterans Day ceremonies planned Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m.

The Perry native graduated from Taylor County High School in 1966 and
enlisted in the Marine Corps just weeks later, on June 29, 1966.
