Fiddler Festival to receive exemption?

This past summer, the Taylor County Commission approved an ordinance regulating large-scale concerts in the county, but soon the board will consider amending the language to exempt events sponsored by chambers of commerce and other non-profit organizations.

Pam Wessels, president of the Steinhatchee River Chamber of Commerce, addressed the commission at its Oct. 20 meeting, expressing concerns over how the ordinance could effect the annual Fiddler Crab Festival in Steinhatchee held each February.
