The Taylor County Commission unanimously rejected a proposal to allow commercial crabbers to use a parcel of county-owned land in Keaton Beach to load and unload their traps during the season, which opened Oct. 15.
The board held a public hearing during its meeting Oct. 20, drawing a dozen calls into the conference line made available due to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.
