Shoebox collection begins Nov. 16

Filled shoeboxes for this year’s Operation Christmas Child campaign will be collected next week, Nov. 16-23, at the Perry Woman’s Club.

“If you would like information or supplies, e-mail me at junebyers@ gmail.com or text (850) 843-8800. You can pack a shoebox (just use a regular size shoebox) or contact me for shoebox materials. You can also pack a shoebox online at samaritanspurse. org/occ,” local coordinator June Byers said.

The hours for the drive-thru collection are: Monday, Nov. 16, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday, Nov. 17, 3:30-5:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 18, 3:30-5:30 p.m.; Thursday, Nov. 9, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 20, 9-11 a.m.; Saturday, Nov. 21, 10 a.m. to noon; Sunday, Nov. 22, 2-5 p.m.; and Monday, Nov. 23, 8:30-10:30 a.m.
