I am what I like to call perpetually single. And, the coronavirus isn’t making it any easier to meet people, believe me. Although dating brings pressures with it, so does being single. Family and friends often feel obligated to set things up, although in my case, I think my family has given up on me.
Anyway, being single, especially around the holidays, is exactly what the new Netlflix romantic comedy “Holidate” is all about. The raunchy comedy (it definitely earns its TV-MA rating) is entirely predictable, but thanks to some solid chemistry from its two leads and the plenty of laughs it produces along the way, “Holidate” is an enjoyable time, especially if you don’t mind your entertainment a bit more adult-oriented than a lot of romantic comedies.
