Main Street to christen Grand Pavilion with ‘Praise in the Park’

As construction of the Grand Pavilion at Rosehead Park progressed and Main Street Perry was appointed to oversee events planned for the site, Perry City Councilwoman Shirlie Hampton had one request: a gospel sing.

Hampton’s wish was duly noted by Main Street’s Tracey Smith, who happily reported at a recent council meeting that plans for the first community gospel sing were well underway.
