Blalock seeking action, change

Oriel Blalock, who filed a discrimination complaint against the Taylor County School District after not being interviewed for an open position at the local middle school, was in the audience Tuesday night when the school board voted to hire an attorney to evaluate its hiring policies and practices.

It is a move that Blalock hopes will result in change.
