Do you have free time and a desire to help City of Perry firefighters?
The city council is seeking a local citizen to serve on the Perry Firefighters Pension Board.
Volunteer board members are required to meet once every three months for approximately one hour to review options brought by pension plan administrators.
A basic knowledge of money and business is helpful, but not necessary, as plan administrators and lawyers are available to explain in layman’s terms the impacts of each choice.
The new member will replace outgoing pension board member David S. Sullivan, whose term will expire December 31, 2020.
If you are interested in serving, call Penny Staffney at 584-7161 (extension 115) or Taylor Brown 584-7161 (extension 117).
