John D. Ernest “J.D.” Fogleman

John D. Ernest “J.D.” Fogleman, 90, of Steinhatchee passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020.

J. D. was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War.

Graveside funeral services were held 12:00 PM Monday, Nov. 23, at noon at Waters Memorial Gardens in Steinhatchee.

Arrangements have been placed under the care of the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Cross City Chapel.

Teresa Ann Jeffrey

Teresa Ann Jeffrey, 72, passed away on Nov. 19, 2020, in Tallahassee.

She was born Feb. 10, 1948, in Perry to Frank Mincy and Juanita Duncan Mincy.

Teresa was of the Baptist faith. She worked as a heavy equipment operator, electrician and mechanic for more than 40 years. She loved the outdoors, fishing and riding in the woods was among her favorites things to do.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Frank Mincy and Juanita Duncan Mincy; her stepdaughter, Amber Jeffrey Hoover; one brother, Jimmy Mincy, and his wife, Nancy; and two sisters, Beatrice Sammoreski, and her husband, Al, and Jo Hudgens.

Teresa is survived by: her husband of 28 years, Carl Jeffrey; her daughter, Juanita Gipson-Sullivan; stepdaughter, Courtney Jeffrey; one brother, Charles and his wife, Marie Mincy; five grandchildren, Joanna Gregory, Tasha Morales Gipson, Amanda Whitt, Alisa Tyler and Braden French; and seven great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.

Memorial services will be held Saturday Nov. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the local Union Hall #1192, located on Old Dixie Highway. Please drop in and see the family during this time.
