Taylor County High School (TCHS) golf standout Cole Wentworth fired a two-under-par 70 to capture medalist honors in the Florida State Amateur qualifier at Seminole Legacy Golf Club and qualify for the 103rd Amateur Championship at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto next month.

Wentworth was one of only two golfers in the 47-man field to shoot under par at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course located in Tallahassee, Florida on Monday, Nov. 23.
