Domestic altercation spills onto U.S. 19

A North Carolina man is charged with assaulting a pregnant woman during an altercation that occurred in the middle of traffic near Wayside Park on Highway 19 North on Monday, Nov. 23.

Davon Douglas Mooring, 24, of Shelby, N.C., is being held without bail on a charge of aggravated battery (offender knew/should have known victim pregnant).
