Megan Wisenbaker James

Mrs. Megan Amelia Wisenbaker James, 37, passed away on Nov. 27, 2020 at her home in Perry. Megan was born Nov. 1, 1983, in Tallahassee to Ivy Wesley Wisenbaker and Gail Coffee Wisenbaker. She was a 2002 graduate of Lowndes County High School where she was a member of the Georgia Bridgemen Band.

Megan was of the Christian faith and a homemaker. In her spare time she enjoyed following politics, watching Seminole football, listening to all types of music and taking care of her cats.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ivy and Gail Wisenbaker; a brother, John Wisenbaker; and a sister, Allison Wisenbaker.

She is survived by; her husband of 14 years, Michael Lee James Jr. of Perry; one daughter, Audrey James of Perry; and a brother, Paul Wisenbaker of Tallahassee; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
