United Way of the Big Bend and Hardee’s of Perry are joining for a share day and drawing on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m.
Hardee’s has donated a Coca Cola bicycle and a Coleman grill for the drawing.
“United Way partners with our Boys and Girls Club, the Taylor Senior Center, Needy School Children’s Fund, the Extension Service Backpack Program and several other agencies in our community,” said local representative Priscilla Tripp.
“The funds raised in Taylor County come directly back to our county.
“Since the COVID pandemic, United Way has reevaluated the impact areas and added health and mental health.
“United Way’s goal is to created access, stability and development to the ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed) population of Taylor County that makes up 58 percent of our community,” Tripp said.
Tickets for the drawing can be purchased online at https://bit.ly/3pGJc28 or in person at Buckeye Community Credit Union (BCFCU).
Tickets will also be available in the lobby of Hardee’s on Friday from 8-11 a.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
