    Posted on December 11, 2020

Perry’s own LeGarrette Blount is shown with his first Super Bowl ring and the Lombardi Trophy won when New England defeated Seattle, 28-24 on Feb. 15, 2015 in Arizona, where Blount currently resides. Blount officially retired this past week after winning three Super Bowl rings (2014, 2016 and 2017) in nine NFL seasons.

After pounding and hurdling his way for more than 6,300 yards and 56 touchdowns over nine seasons in the NFL, three-time Super Bowl champion running back LeGarrette Blount has officially hung up the cleats he once used to pay tribute to his Taylor County roots.

Before taking the field for his final Super Bowl appearance in 2017, Blount scribbled “Taylor County,” “Bulldog Pride,” “TCHS” and “850” on his cleats to express his love for his hometown.
