Elizabeth Anne Murphy, 60, passed away peacefully on Dec. 10, 2020, at her home in Perry.
Anne was born Feb. 15, 1960, in Perry to Marvin Murphy and Patsie Ellison Murphy.
She was of the Southern Baptist faith who loved being outdoors especially hunting and fishing, and spending time with her family.
Anne was preceded in death by: her father, Marvin Murphy; two brothers, Ben Murphy and Audie Murphy; a nephew, Pete Cabral; and a grandson, Malachi Gundrum.
She is survived by: her mother, Patsie Wise (Tommy); two sisters, LaJuan Bodiford (Darby) and Amanda Weatherly (Jamie); one brother, Fred Murphy (Jerrie); children, LouAnn Pittman (Richard), Loretta Davis, Lindsey Bratcher, Heather McCormick-Tayco (Bruce) and Jessica “Jake” McCormick; and nine grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 8 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery with Brother Cricket Watson officiating.
