James “Jim” Dean Werner

Mr. James “Jim” Dean Werner, 67, of Perry passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, in Perry.

Jim was born Sept. 27, 1953, in Little Rock, Ark., to Rex and Beulah Werner.

He was a graduate of Harrison High School in Harrison, Ark. Jim worked as a dredging engineer with Goodloe Marine near Tampa for more than 30 years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and reading.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Paula Werner.

He is survived by: his wife of 33 years, Deborah Jean Werner; two sons, Thomas Werner and Lonny Snodgrass; one daughter, Angela Dixon, and husband, Jody; one brother, Joe Werner; and two sisters, Rexina Campbell and Jackie Werner; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
