    Drunken spree results in $20,000 in damages

    A Perry man was arrested and held on a $62,000 bond after reportedly burglarizing the Taylor County Sports Complex, causing an estimated $20,000 in damages and leading law enforcement on a drunken 100-mph chase Saturday, Dec. 12.

    Glen Wilson Coxwell, 22, of Perry, faces 12 criminal charges after breaking into the local sports complex compound, ramming a tractor into two county buildings and stealing a truck he used to lead officers on a high-speed chase before finally crashing on Hwy. 98.
