Michael Sean Gunter

Michael Sean Gunter, 50, passed away following a lengthy illness on Dec. 14, 2020, at Capital Regional Medical Center.

He was born on Dec. 3, 1970, in Quitman, Ga., to Janice Edwards Gunter and the late Allen Gunter.

He is survived by: his mother, Janice Gunter of Perry; one brother, Chris Gunter (Dina) of Sopchoppy; a niece, Virginia Gunter of Sopchoppy; and uncles Alec (Linda) Gunter, Larry (Francis) Edwards; as well as numerous cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Allen Gunter, and grandparents, Tom Allen (Otha) Gunter and Buck (Vera) Edwards.

Mike loved to fish, hunt, garden and search for arrowheads.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Graveside services were held Thursday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m., at Indian Springs Cemetery in Perry.
