“The World’s End” is non-stop hilarity combined with madcap action, a story bordering on the absurd and surprisingly deep characters with great acting to bring them to life.
I’m not sure this will be everybody’s proverbial cup of tea, but if you’re looking for a good R-rated (for copious amounts of foul language) comedy, especially if you have a group of friends to go with, this might be for you.
“The World’s End” is funny, witty and surprisingly sincere, and despite the absurdities inherent in the script, it’s one of the better comedies I’ve seen this year.
The film is rated R for pervasive language including sexual references.
