State Representative Jason Shoaf and State Senator Loranne Ausley will be in Perry today (Friday, Jan. 8) at 5 p.m. in the boardroom of the Taylor County Administrative Complex (located at 201 E. Green Street in Perry) for the 2021 Legislative Delegation Meeting.
The delegation hearing is held annually so that local officials, members of the public and other interested parties have the opportunity to present legislative proposals or express opinions to their elected state representatives.
All meetings of the Taylor County Legislative Delegation are open to the public.
This meeting will also be live streamed on the Taylor County Board of County Commissioner’s Facebook page at: https://www. facebook.com/taylor.bocc.
A conference line has been set up in order to accommodate community access to the meeting as well (Conference Line: (917) 900-1022; Access Code: 32347#).
Please note that this is not a toll-free number and you may be subject to long-distance charges according to your long distance plan.
Those wishing to speak via this method should dial *5 when Chairman Shoaf opens the meeting for public comment. The moderator will unmute your line when it is your turn to speak, and notify you by announcing the last 4 digits of your telephone number.
At that time you may announce your name, address and organization (if applicable) prior to being allowed three minutes to speak.
The 2021 regular session of the Florida Legislature is scheduled to convene on March 2 in Tallahassee.
