No response to Bar inquiry

Former Third Judicial State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister failed to meet a Jan. 6 deadline to respond to inquiries from The Florida Bar regarding allegations that he embezzled nearly $1 million from a dead man’s estate or face having his license to practice law suspended.

Siegmeister had until Wednesday (Jan. 6) to file a response to The Bar’s notice, but according to the Florida Supreme Court docket, no such response has been filed.
